This is for those of you who have not read Issue 256. Yes, the final chapter of the Countdown to Chaos saga is now in the stores. I won't reveal any spoilers, but I will talk about one thing that I've learned, and it's not pleasant:
Apparently, Eggman's failed Super Genesis Wave didn't affect Sonic's world alone. It actually affected the whole multiverse, AKA alternate zones. However, as a result of the altered timeline, the Multiverse has collasped upon itself due to excess energy from the Genesis Wave.
In other words, many Alternate Zones, like the No Zone and Moebius, might not ever be seen again because they may have been destroyed, along with the 'banned' characters.
That said, it just goes to show we need to work harder than ever if we are to reach our one goal.

Hey guys. It's been over 6 months since I wrote my last blog for this group, but now I have something new for you guys.
Recently, Ian Flynn talked about an old quote of his in some tweets in a thread on his Twitter account, as he wrote this:

If/When the FF return, they will almost assuredly be updated to fit into Modern!Sonic's style/world/themes.
IDW is aware there's demand for them. I definitely know folks want them back. I'm pushing where & when I can, as things well beyond my control dev

Fellow members, please hear me. Given all that has happened and how much time has past, I believe the time has come for us to accept hard truths. This group was formed for the purpose of trying to save the Archie Sonic comic that we all, for our own reasons, loved very much. It should be clear by now to any rationale individual that this goal is no longer attainable. What's more, our group has gained a tarnished reputation by the bitter rantings of various members (who I won't name here). Good riddance to most of them.
They were mostly corny idea mostly silver age like. I hope at least scourge sticks around, he's at least got a lot more behind him.
But the rest, I really don't care. Does someone really want that sailor moon rip off world to be canon still?
