SAVE-ARCHIE-SONIC

Alright everybody, we've got a new idea to try this time with the letters.

Draw a favorite scene from the comics before the Genesis Wave mess and send it to ARCHIE comics explaining why it made such an impression and how you want to see the comic restored to how it was before. Draw characters who were taken away because of the Wave, of historical events in the comic that got erased because of the stupid reboot. When you finish send it in on the last week of July.

Now we need to address some trouble we've been having with comments lately and some possible misconceptions about this group.

First off we've been getting comments and accusations that this group is now a dictatorship because we are being strict on how things are done. Quit frankly this is short sighted and wrong. We are a group specifically started and dedicated towards the fixing of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic, not a hater group as so many seem to think this is. We can not have distractions from those who would rather just make a spectacle of themselves or bring down the morale of group members by try to discredit the efforts of the group or those in charge of it. That's one of the reasons we have the rule of one strike and your out. And I know we've had a handful of people who have been deserving of this enforcement, and we apologize to the good members of the group, but we have been busy in our personal lives so we are not always able to catch these troublemakers. If you see someone who is causing trouble in the comments then please report them to one of the group founders.


Next order of business is about an issue we have with recent art submissions. Guys, here's the rules about submissions to the group.
1. Any deviations for the group really need to be of support to the comic, before the reboot, in ways that show it. Such as drawings of scenes from the comics from over the years and stuff that shows our care for the world that the writers made for the fans and themselves instead of simply thinking what would gain them profit.

2. NO deviations of characters with clothes removed(This does not apply to characters in the comic who go without clothes or wear like one article of clothes.), showing underwear, posing suggestively, of them drawn like Jessica Rabbit, or anything that has nothing to do with our group. This includes mature and/or suggestive artwork. We've been getting people submitting them into our group gallery and it's going to stop.

3. Please do not submit art with your original characters or anything that advertises your own stuff. This includes fanfics with your oc's and advertisements for services of drawing or whatever. It also includes fan characters of what-if kids of characters from the comics. They have nothing to do with the group or its goal.



Additionally we need to address a related issue, politeness in the comments. We ask that everyone be polite when talking in the group. If you have a problem with someone then take it outside of the groups comment sections and anywhere that would show up in the group. You can argue and hate all you want on someone, but just not here in the group. Now we are not saying you can't give an opinion or criticize, just be polite about it.

All group members should be paying attention to this one, if someone proves themselves a problem for the group they will be kicked out. NO if, ands, or buts about it. We don't enjoy dismissing a member, but this is a dedicated group. Not some club you join just cause or some flimsy reason. One strike and your out. We will be enforcing this rule so we can get the best out of the group and further our cause. Now to be clear we will review whether or not a person is an actual problem to deem dismissal, we are not without fairness.

That's about it for now everyone. If you have any positive suggestions on how to show ARCHIE comics, SEGA, and even Penders how much we care for the comic and want things fixed back into how they should be instead of the current shameless merchandising rag they're trying to pass off as the Sonic the Hedgehog comic, then leave a comment below.  If you have an actual valid questions about what's written here we, the group leaders, will try to answer to the best of our degree. Either in the comments below, here in this journal entry, or in a new journal entry.

Yup ya'll read right. I just haven't been able to do anything thats useful for the group. I'm still a sonic archie fan but don't think I'm giving in or anything. I just don't see the point of me being here if I don't do anything better yet, what this group is failing to do. I'm sorry but I have to be honest here, cause This group seems to have been around for a good long while and stated many good points in many journal entries and many attempts to batch letters to people who worked with Archie like Ken Penders, Ian Flynn, and sonic voice actors and so on. Other than that, ya'll are just ranting and ranting about your different opinions on the current issues of the sonic Archie comics and thats about all I see whenever I go to check my inbox here and honestly it annoyed me a bit. I'm basically needing some time to recover because I've been preoccupied with other things. I won't leave Deviantart again but I will say this, I will be reachable if any of you wanna talk or anything. koodoos to ya'll for fighting for what you believe in, Now I gotta do what I gotta do.
